Current Music: Yaz, Don't Go

When I was painting at Dana Street today, a woman came up to me and was impressed that I had both my laptop and paintset out at the same time. She said to email her the next time I'm going to be there, so she can bring her paints as well. The thought of multiple people in a cafe doing art sorts of things pleases me.

The painting I did isn't that great; it's probably a good thing that my digital camera is blurry as all fuck:

This was inspired by the urban legend that some mall in Japan had a crucified Santa up for their Xmas display.

get some photography lessons!

I think your painting skill isn't anywhere near as bad as your lack of photography skill! There must be a way to get a clearer picture than that. Or maybe you just need to paint on a much larger canvas to compensate :) Actually, I thought your watercolor stuff from the previous post looked pretty cool. This painting here would probably upset the kids. Mmm, Yaz. I think I'll grab that CD for tomorrow's commute.

Re: get some photography lessons!

Yeah, my photography skills suck... but the camera's autofocus blows goats when you're closer than about three-four feet. It also can't seem to get the flash right, either; it had the autoflash on, and they still came out way, way dark. Sigh, the limitations of the camera make me want to get a real one.

I'll probably paint my snailrabbit next; that's rather more kid-friendly.
