Sleep is good for the blood.
My sleep schedule has always been oriented towards the night for as long as I can remember. Even in grade school and high school I never automatically got up in the morning - it was always a long painful struggle into consciousness. I think it may have something to do with the ambient light around, as I have a very distinct memory of being six or seven years old, getting awakened by my mom to go to school, and wandering into the bathroom to stare at the naked lightbulbs by the mirror for a few minutes. (I know that my sense of what time it is has been severely screwed up lately with it getting pitch-dark around 5pm.)
I love to sleep, but I wish I didn't have to do so much of it. :-/
