A comment I left on g_na's LJ:
It's hard to write about stuff that's non-fluff when your life is calmer, ain't it? (Also hard to avoid retreading the same old stuff.)

It's true, though. I've been going to work, going home, wash, rinse, repeat; the most exciting thing that's happened to me lately is that the 18mm bone spur in my left heel seems pretty much healed now; I can walk with only minor aches now! Wooooo.

Because I can't think of anything else to say, here's the lamest form letter I've gotten on LinkedIn for quite some time. I mean, the guy isn't even trying.

I just came across your LinkedIn profile online and was impressed with your background. I know you may not be actively looking for a job right now, but we're working with this really incredible company that I thought might interest you.

If you're interested, or know someone who might be a good fit for the role, please let me know. If this particular company doesn't strike your interest, please let me know as well because we work with hundreds of others that might be right up your alley =). If you're not looking at the moment, please tell me when it might make more sense and I'd be happy to check in later! Hope to hear from you soon!

Come on. At least pretend that you had a particular company in mind.
