I don't have strep, yay. On the other hand, my ears are still hella clogged.

That's good.
Unfortunately, hubby might. He's got an ear infection at least...how do you deal with those? I've never had one.

Go to the doctor, get antibiotic ear solution.
(If your Eustachian tubes are just clogged up, you don't need them - but when the outer ear is producing goop, it's time for the drops.)

No goop outside yet, but it feels like he's getting stabbed in the ear canal every time he swallows. And no congestion in the nose or sinuses, so I don't think they're just clogged up like yours were. (Not saying that isn't miserable enough, just don't think it's what he has.)

He's going to the doc today at 3 though, so we'll see what they say. Thanks for the help.

He should probably chow down on psuedoephedrine (not the wussy PE stuff that they sell in the name of the War on Drugs.)

God, I hate that fake stuff. I tried some about 8 months ago and it didn't do jack...I went back the next day about bought the maximum amount of real sudafed they'd let me. I think I still have a box bouncing around somewhere, I'll try to slip it into his nyquil.
