My kooky plan for The Future: take a course or four in Japanese, and then try to get xferred to the Tokyo office for a year or three.

When signing up for the course at DeAnza, I realized that there'll probably be at least one student that's, literally, half my age. (Thanks for the birthday wishes, incidentally.)

The maps - not super helpful. I did write down a location or two from the maps, though.
The code words book - yaauugh. Sounds like it was written for MBAs who want to break into business in Japan.
The other book - can't remember what it is right now, but it's sitting on the floor in a pile with the other stuff.

I should give them all back to you and yammer about it in person. :)

There will be days to come when we will *wish* the people around us were half our age. :)

Doctors, for instance...

Woo! That kooky plan sounds like fun. If I had the time to take a decent course load, I'd love to get an English degree and tack on some Japanese. ;)

Since it'd been about 18 months since the last round, I'm now doing the "Hmm. Do I want to get an undergrad degree? And how?" thing. Again.
