Current Mood: annoyed annoyed

Newest bizarre reason for sleeping through an alarm:

My phone white-screen crashed, in the middle of the night while I wasn't using it - and thus the alarm didn't go off.

Grrr.

Heh. I've had mine fall into a pile that was too soft for the vibrate-alarm to be heard, too...

I tried using my computer as an alarm clock for a while, but then it would randomly hang in the middle of the night. Yay technology!

Random tangental question: why doesn't anyone make a CD alarm clock that gets its time from the atomic clock broadcasts? There're alarm clocks that listen to the broadcast, and there are CD alarm clocks, but never both in one unit.

Be even better if it could play an mp3 off of an SD card or something; seems like the failure mode of all CD alarm clocks is to eventually scratch the fuck out of the CD.

Which day? Steve and I are tracking. We've started noticing our phones crash around the same times on the same days. Saturday, June 10, was one of those days. During the day, probably around midday.
