Still not reading LJ much. I slept from 4pm Tuesday to 6pm Wednesday (with a five hour anti-nap) by accident; it's definitely getting close to winter. Stupid overcast sky.

But! It appears I'll be staffing YaoiCon Saturday and Sunday (and maybe Friday if I get out of work early enough.) I'll be at the Fanime table if people feel like dropping by.

While I don't have much interest in yaoi, I do have interest in the 80% female attendee ratio...

pop japan travel and that is where i found out about yaoi.

apparently the japanese don't even understand what is going on with it. it's not big there from what i understand.

I imagine it ain't dissimilar to how 'merkins refer to anime porn as hentai, but the japanese refer to it as echhi.

I'll be working the Animeten table at Y-con if you want to wander over and say hi. I'll try to stop by the Fanime table as well to chat with folks.

At some point I need to get started on Fanime planning.... ^_^;; Maybe in January.
