Ideas get diluted too

(Link)
It's not entirely accurate (nor entirely inaccurate, I suppose) to repeat the FUDdy old meme about homeopathy and dilution...but the more likely explanation is even less palatable to current mainstream scientific thought, so I'll let y'all do your own researchings.

Also, you can't spell amusement without semen. I'm just sayin'. -- dr.jd

Humor gets diluted too

Ok, ok. I admit it. I made a joke. Actually the dilution of the molecules of a breath into the atmosphere we breathe does not entirely fit with the current "thinking" on homeopathy which appears to be attempting to use a misunderstanding of quantum physics to suggest that water, when exposed to certain reagents, will take on a sort of resonance which allows it to remember the qualities of those reagents and thus the efficacy of those reagents is not lost through dilution.

However, at its source, Mr. Hahnemann's theory is merely yet another take on the whole idea of humours common at his time mixed with a healthy dose of sympathetic magic. I don't believe in either and I find the idea of women getting pregnant through waving their snatches in the air hoping to catch some molecules of expired breath from someone long dead equally as believable and a lot more humorous, if you'll forgive the pun.
